Senior Research Fellow and Full Professor in Contemporary History (1988), Institute of History, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Visiting Professor in Contemporary History (Cold War Studies), Geopolitics, and Diplomatic History at New Bulgarian University. Fellowships in Germany, USA, and Russia. She has been Deputy Director of the Institute of History. Editorial Board member, "Bulgarian Historical Review". Author and editor of several books, research and documentary volumes on contemporary political, diplomatic and intelligence history, German-Bulgarian, US-Bulgarian, and Russian-Bulgarian relations (among them Bulgaria and the Third Reich. 1941-1944, Sofia 1975; Bulgaria in the US Balkan Policy. 1939-1944, Sofia 1985).
